Susan Elizabeth Davis

Susan Elizabeth Davis, 73, of Gastonia, passed away October 30, 2023, at her home.

She was born March 8, 1950, in Gaston County, NC, to the late George Willard and Polly Ruth Davis.

Susan was a member of Loray Baptist Church.  Through the years, she traveled all over North America.  Susan enjoyed spending her time doing crochet, cross stitching, and shopping.  If she was not doing those things, she would enjoy watching movies.

Susan was a veteran of the United States Army, where she retired as a staff sergeant after 20 years of service.  Following her military career, Susan worked for more than 30 years at Firestone.

In addition to her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Lutz.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Mercelies "Mercy" Davis; brother George W. Davis Jr. and wife Cindy; and grandchildren, Alyssa, Kyra, Kathleen, and Tera Huffsmith.
