Sue Dillard Carnes

Sue Dillard Carnes, 65, of Belmont, passed away on March 29, 2021, at her daughter's home in Ellenboro.

She was born October 3, 1955, in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late William Dillard and Catherine Gibson Dillard.

A funeral service will be held  3:00 pm Friday, April 2, 2021, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Arthur Beck.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Sue is survived by her son, Ricky Carnes Jr.;  her daughters, Shelia Carnes, Stephanie Roberson and husband, Robert; sister, Debbie Ramsey and husband, Tony; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Leroy Carnes; sister, Betty Snead.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
