Steven Kyle Wright

Steven Kyle Wright was born on April 29th, 1981. His life was tragically cut short on January 20, 2024. He was 42 years old when he was taken away from us.

Steven made a major impact on everyone he was around. He was so kindhearted and he would never turn a person in need down.

He was a jack of all trades. He could pretty much do anything you could think of. His nickname was MacGyver because he could fix it if it was broken.

He enjoyed hiking, fishing, cars and riding on his motorcycle.

Steven was a beloved father to two children, Mackenzie Dawn Toler and Evan Kyle Wright, and a husband to Amanda Badger Wright. He is survived by his parents Charles and Nancy Wright; his brother, Michael Wright, sister, Shannon Greene and husband Robert; nephews, Patrick Greene, Jeffrey Wright; nieces, Nicole Wright and Jordyn Stevens; numerous great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his nephew, Richard Austin Short.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm Friday, January 26, 2024, at Westview Gardens 1123 Edgewood Road Bessemer City.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 pm Friday prior to the graveside service at Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia.
