In Loving Memory of Steven McCoy Stewart aka "Stump" or "Stumpy"

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven McCoy Stewart, affectionately known as "Stump" or "Stumpy," aged 69, on January 24, 2024, due to complications from cirrhosis and kidney failure. He was a vibrant soul who embraced the fast life early on and left an indelible mark on those who knew him.

During his early adult years, Steve reveled in the joy of life, cranking up dance music and leading the way on the dance floor. His infectious energy and love for a good time brought together friends to create cherished memories that will forever resonate.

While navigating the complexities of life and parenthood at a young age, Steve may have been a bit naive in his role as a father, but his kind heart and brotherly love prevailed most of the time. Despite the challenges, we choose to remember the moments of love, family, friends and forgiveness.

In accordance with Steve's wishes, no formal memorial service will be held. Instead, we invite all who knew him to raise a toast, or a prayer, sharing stories and bidding him farewell until we see him again.

May the echoes of his love, laughter, jokes he told, and the rhythm of his dance live on in our hearts.
