Steven Michael Setzer, 55, of Bessemer City, passed away on June 30, 2020, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.
He was born January 7, 1965, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, son of Bobby Ray Setzer Sr. and the late Elizabeth Burlett Setzer.
Steven loved his family and enjoyed cooking. He loved to play his guitar, sing, and writing songs. He always enjoyed music playing around him.
All services will be private.
In addition to his father, Steven is survived by his loving wife, Renee Setzer; sons, Joshua Setzer and wife Natalie, Michael Dowdle and wife Alesia; daughters, Misty Galica, Amanda Setzer and Stevi Setzer; brothers, Bobby Setzer Jr. and Eddie Setzer; sister, Debbie Guy; grandchildren, Jasmine Galica, Jeffery Galica, Apollo Setzer, Perseus Setzer, Orion Setzer, Pandora Setzer, Amelia Setzer, Taylor Owens, Molly-Raye Owens, Emily Setzer, Alistrah Dowdle.
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia McCarthy.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
