Steven Darrell Scott

Steven Darrell Scott, 61, of Lawndale, passed away October 12, 2015. He was born November 12, 1953 in Gaston County, the son of the late Marion and Evelyne "Janie" Scott. Left to cherish his memories are his brothers Acie Scott and wife Judy, Ted Scott and wife Sue, Randy Scott, Larry Scott and wife Brenda and niece Gloria Scott who was also his caregiver. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his nephew Nicky Scott. A funeral service will be held 3 pm Saturday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Roger Mathis. The family will receive friends 2 - 2:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice - PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
