Steven Dills I

Steven Dills I, 59, of Bessemer City, passed away at his home on February 18, 2015. He was born October 28, 1955 in Gaston County, son of the late Clint Dills and Bobbie Lowery Dills. Steven loved his family dearly, he was a devoted husband and wonderful father. He loved his career of being a pipe welder. A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be private. He is survived by, his loving wife of 37 years, Peggy Revis Dills; sons, Steven Dills II, Jamie Wayne Dills and wife Erica, Thomas Kayn Dills and wife Jessie, Kelly Lee Dills and wife Misty; sisters, Marlene Ellis and husband Richard, Karen Falls and husband Freddie; grandchildren, Caleb, Christian, Nicholas, Alexander, Keara, Aiden and Noah Dills. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by, son, Joshua Dills; sister, Rosemary Dills; brothers, Paul and David Dills.
