Steve Wells
July 9, 1939 — March 2, 2017
Steve Wells,77, of Kings Mountain, passed away on March 2, 2017, at his brother's home.
He was born July 9, 1939, in York County, son of the late Fred Wells and Mary Ethel Sistare Wells.
Mr. Wells was a member of Oak View Baptist Church, Kings Mountain.
A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Oakview Baptist Church 1517 York Rd. Kings Mountain, officiated by Rev. David B. Turner.
The family will receive friends 6-8 Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia.
Interment will be at the church cemetery.
Mr. Wells is survived by son, Michael Wells; daughter, Michele Hoffman and husband Terry; brothers, Jerry (Betty) Wells, Frankie Wells; sister, Margaret Faye Brittain; grandchildren, Michael and Dillon Carter, Courtney Ford, Jacob Hoffman; great-grandchild, Bree Carter.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Brewington Wells.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
