Steve Douglas Parton, 62, of Lowell, passed away June 1, 2015. He was born August 7, 1952, native of Gaston County, the son of the late Elmore Allen and Mabel Lee Storey Parton Rikard. A funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd. The family will receive friends 6 - 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
