Steve Anderson Braswell

Steve Anderson Braswell, 72, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 16, 2023, at his residence.

A native of Gaston County, he was born on July 15, 1951, to the late Donald Braswell and Nadine Griffin Goss.

Steve was an active member of Crowders Mountain Baptist Church. He loved his family and his church family. He was a big Tarheel fan.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, William Ashley, Lizzie Viola Griffin, Etoy Braswell; uncle, Doug Griffin; fur baby, You-You.

Steve is survived by his wife, Crystal McAbee Braswell; stepson, Clint Hennessee (Holli); brothers, Wade Braswell (Sharon), Michael Braswell (Kathleen); grandchildren, Kinsley Hennessee, Aiden Hennessee; father and mother-in-law, Pastor Larry and Ann Laws; aunt, Jane Griffin.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Larry Laws will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2023, 2:00 pm, at Crowders Mountain Baptist Church, 125 Mayberry Lane, Kings Mountain, NC 28086. Burial will follow at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 251 Olney Church Rd. Gastonia, NC, 28056.
