Stephen Michael Hope

Stephen Michael Hope, 70, of Bessemer City, passed away June 17, 2017 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

He was born December 18, 1946, in Kings Mountain, the son of the late George Junior Hope and Maggie Humphries Hope.

Stephen was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Marines as a Lance Corporal.  He was a member of the VFW and American Legions.  He was a great father, husband, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Brenda Hope of 35 years; four sons; three daughters; one brother; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held 7 pm Wednesday, June 21st, at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
