Starlene Gibbie Wease

Starlene Gibbie Wease, 66, of Gastonia, NC, went to be with the Lord Sunday, April 21, 2024, at her residence.

She was born November 16, 1957, a native of Gaston Co, NC, daughter of Maxine Mitchelle Gibbie and the late Howard James Gibbie.

Starlene was a member of Independent Baptist Tabernacle, Dallas, NC. She enjoyed singing, shopping, and loved her family and church family.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wease, Sr.; three brothers; and sisters, Sharon Hamby, and Beth Gibbie Riddle.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her Uncle, David Mitchell; Aunt, Pat Mitchell; nieces and nephews.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Michael Spargo and Pastor Brian Spargo, will be held 3pm Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Independent Baptist Tabernacle - 2128 Dallas Cherryville Hwy, Dallas, NC 28034.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow the service at the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
