Silka Louise- Faith Dean

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ms. Silka Louise-Faith Dean, who came into this world sleeping. Silka's journey was brief, yet her presence has left an unforgettable mark on our lives and hearts. She was the beloved daughter of Nathan and Kaitlyn Dean. Her short time with us is a gentle reminder of the beauty found in love itself.

Though Silka's time with us was short, she touched our lives in ways we will forever cherish. In the words of her sweet spirit, "This world is too ghetto for me." We can only imagine the joy she would have brought to the world had her journey continued.

We invite family and friends to come together to celebrate Silka's beautiful spirit and the love that surrounds her. The funeral services will be held on 2pm Saturday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S York Rd Gastonia, NC. We encourage all who knew and loved her to join us in honoring her brief but meaningful life.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by: grandparents, Daniel and Amber Adcock, William Jr and Amanda Smith, Arthur and Chanin Dean; uncles, Will Smith, Aiden Holloway, Ian Adcock, Ian Bell; aunts ,Kayla Poston, Kindra Smith; cousins, Ezekiel Bolin, Mia Smith and Mason Poston.
