Shirley Dagmar Wooten Bolen

Shirley Dagmar Wooten Bolen, 66, of Lincolnton, NC passed away November 2, 2020 at her home.

She was born May 3, 1954 in Gaston County, NC to the late James Reed Wooten, Sr., and Mary Virginia Warren Wooten.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Bolen; and a sister, Jill Wooten Welch.

Shirley is survived by a son, Tony Lee Bolen; daughter, Iris Bolen Canup; a brother, James Reed Wooten, Jr.; a sister, Diane Wooten Welch; grandchildren, Thomas Self and wife Christina, Timothy Bolen, Amber Bumgardner and husband John, Michael Canup and wife Ashley, Dalton Canup, and Jonthan Lopez; and great-grandchildren, Thomas Jaxson Nanney, Hayley-Ann Nanney, Nakhia Bolen, and Gracelyn Bolen.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 6, 2020 at 3:00 pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
