Shirley Crawley Walker

Shirley Crawley Walker, 70, of Gastonia, passed away December 1, 2015 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas. She was born February 6, 1945, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late Arnold M.D. and Pearl Crawley. Shirley was a member of Love Memorial Baptist Church in Gastonia. She was a loving mother and grandmother and adored her dogs. Left to cherish her memories are her sons Jimmy Walker, Jeffrey Walker and wife, Lauren, Johnny Walker; daughters Donna Walker Carter, Angela McSwain Toungate and husband Sean, Teresa Walker; sister, Patricia C. Hample; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jim H. Walker and brothers, Arnold and Wayne Crawley. A funeral service will be held 1 pm Friday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. The family will receive friends 7 – 9 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
