Shirley Ann Tilley

Shirley Ann Tilley, 72, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte.

She was born December 20, 1950, a native of Gaston Co, NC, daughter of the late Robert and Ruby Stennett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robbie Tilley; daughter, Julie Griffin; grandson, Briane Pike, Jr.,; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Shirley is survived by her sister, Judy Stennett; fiancé, Gary Holland; daughter and son-in-law, Ruby and David Detter; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Carolyn Stennett; 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Renae Coleman, will be held 2pm, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052, come as she saw you.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the service at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
