Shirley Morrison Hager

Shirley Morrison Hager, 91, of Bessemer City, NC, passed away June 25, 2020 at Atrium Health – Lincolnton.

She was born July 16, 1928 in Cleveland County, NC to the late James Albert and Martha Nasmi Hamilton Morrison.

Shirley was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Bessemer City, NC.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hager; three daughters, Terri Ingle, Patti Traywick, and Toni Kelly; and a sister, Patsy Kimray.

Shirley is survived by two sons, Rusty Hager and Ricky Hager and wife, Cathy; a daughter, Traci Melton and husband, Kevin; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Ronald A. Orovitz and Pastor Robert F. Mitschke, Jr., will be held Monday, June 29, 2020 at Grace Lutheran Church, Bessemer City, NC at 3:00 pm.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
