Shirley Gregory

Shirley Gregory, 74, of Kings Mountain passed away on February 20, 2013 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. She was born June 7, 1938 in Chillicothe , Ohio daughter of the late Forrest Dearth and Mary Brown Dearth. Shirley will be greatly missed by her survivors: son, Doug Gregory and wife Kimberly of Baltimore, MD; four brothers, four sisters; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her ex-husband, John C. Gregory; four brothers; three sisters. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of Kings Mountain Hospice House for their loving and compassionate care of Mrs. Gregory. A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm on Tuesday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia, NC officiated by Rev. Scott A. Demers. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
