Shirley Ann Gibson Norris

Shirley Ann Gibson Norris, 77, of Gastonia, passed away January 15, 2018 at her residence.

She was born August 31, 1940, in Lancaster County, SC, the daughter of the late Buddy Hood Gibson and Della Mae Thomas Gibson.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Bobby Belk and soul-mate, Penny Whitted, Eugene Belk and spouse, Kenny Pennington; grandchildren, Kenneth, Brittany, Susan, Stephanie, Marie; 16 great-grandchildren and fur-baby Minnie Sue.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Norris and daughters, Candy Ann Belk and Cindy Williams.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Leroy Kevin Summey and Chaplain Ron Hudson.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
