Shirley Farmer

Shirley Heffner Farmer, 74, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

A native of Gaston County, Shirley was born on November 2, 1946, to the late Loyd and Mattie Jones Heffner. Shirley lived her entire life in the Robinwood and York Chester Communities.

Shirley had a quick wit, big heart and firecracker personality.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 46 years, Thomas H. Farmer; brothers, Gene Heffner, Raymond Heffner, Marshall Heffner, Charles Heffner, Blair Heffner, and Ray Heffner; and her beloved dog, Boo.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Pamela Bradshaw; grandchildren, Wesley Bradshaw, Kristy Bradshaw Wallach, and husband Dan; great grandson, Luca Thomas Wallach; as well as several nieces and nephews. Shirley had a special relationship with her niece, Lisa Myers.

Shirley will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later time.

The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service is assisting the family.
