Shirley Eller Dunlap, 81, of Gastonia, passed away November 6, 2017, at Carolinas ContinueCare in Charlotte.
She was born May 10, 1936 in Graham County, the daughter of the late Roy Wells Eller and Electa Parker Eller.
Shirley was a member of Community Pentecostal Center in Stanley.
She is survived by her daughters Tshenena Rae Dunlap, Deanna Dunlap and DaLene Dunlap Graham; sister Wanda Eller Graham; brothers Ronnie Roy Eller, Ulysses Laverne Eller, Jr. and Buddy Ray Eller; eight grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband W.W. Dunlap, daughter, VyLene Dunlap Quinn and brother, Ulysses Laverne "Bud" Eller Sr.
A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Eddie McGinnis, will be held 6:00 pm Friday, November 10, 2017 at Community Pentecostal Center, 320 Ralph Handsel Blvd., Stanley, NC 28164.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be private.
