Shirley Green Dover, 77, of Gastonia, passed away December 13, 2017 at her home.
She was born August 21, 1940 in Shelby, daughter to the late Willie Lee Green and Etta Church Green.
Left to cherish her memories are her son, Larry D. Greene and wife, Donna of Gastonia; daughter, Kimberly Robles and husband Andy of Charlotte; grandchildren, Josh Greene and Christopher Kunkel and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband Charles L. Dover; granddaughter, Melissa Greene; two brothers and one sister.
A funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Carl Moyers will be held 1 pm Monday, December 18, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
