Shirley Virginia Andrews

Shirley Virginia Andrews, 85, of Gaffney, passed away August 19, 2021, at her home.

She was born July 27, 1936, in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Clark Eugene Shuster and Harriet James Shuster.

Shirley loved to play cards and work puzzle books.

She was always taking care of her grandchildren and loved cooking for them.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm  Tuesday, August 24, 2021,at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Charles Harris .

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be at  Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia.

Shirley is survived by her sons, Danny  Andrews (Dawn), Dean Andrews (Jennifer);  her daughters, Carolyn Skidmore (David Bolton); Linda Hobbs; sister, Elma Neeld(Ed); twenty-two grandchildren; several great , and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Andrews; sons, Wayne Andrews, Gene Andrews, Keith Andrews; daughter, Regenia Mathis.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the charity of one's choice.
