Sherry Ann Walker

Sherry Ann Walker, 55, of Gastonia, passed away August 31, 2012 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. She was born January 2, 1957 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Matthew and Louise Weaver Walker. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Don Jewel. The family will receive friends 7-9pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia. She is survived by: her daughter, Dabra Ann Crosby of Lincolnton; brothers, Jimmy Ray Walker and Jackie Walker of Gastonia, Johnny Walker of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Carolyn W. Deaton of Kings Mountain, Mary Jo Costner of Gastonia; grandchildren, Brittney N. Puckett, Chris M. Kelly, Devon S. Crosby, Melissa A. Crosby; great grandchildren, Elijah Baker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her daughter, Amy Beth Kelley; sister, Bobby Jo Walker.
