Sherri Hill

Sherri Kiser Hill, 63, of Gastonia, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

A native of Gaston County, Sherri was born on January 14, 1958, to William and Alma Jean Grigg Mercer.

Sherri was a member of Riverwood Worship Center, where she was the concert pianist for the praise team and was also a singer for the church.  Sherri loved her dog Kobe, who was a constant companion.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John David Kiser, and granddaughters, Lana, and Jana Moore.

Left to cherish Sherri's memories are her parents, Bill and Jeanie Mercer; husband of 8 years, Tim Hill; sons, Brannon Moore (Valerie), Jason Moore (Stacey), Shane Kiser (Brandy), Shawn Kiser (Christy), Brandon Hill (Morgan); daughter, Katie Dennis (Travis); brothers, Wayne Mercer (Jeanette) and Lynn Mercer; sisters, Debbie Coe (Phillip, who passed shortly after Sherri); grandchildren, Katelyn Grieves, Will Fowler, Nick Fowler, Lauren Kiser, Katie Kiser, Cameron Kiser, LeAnna Moore, Sarah Kiser, Avery Moore, Landen Dennis, Eli Moore, Logan Hill and Baker Dennis; and 9 great grandchildren.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Danny Hoell and Pastor Jay Price, will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, September 27, 2021, at Riverwood Worship Center – 1425 Neal Hawkins Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.

Entombment to follow the service at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Riverwood Worship Center – 1425 Neal Hawkins Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.
