Sherri Allen

Sherri Baynard Allen, age 43, of Kings Mountain, was born August 9, 1971 and earned her wings November 8, 2014. Sherri was an amazing wife, daughter, sister, mother and friend to all that knew her. Sherri was and always will be her family's hero; the one that could always make you laugh on your worst day. She was loved and will be missed by all that loved her. She was the daughter of Margaret and the late Cling Baynard. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Linda Collins and Donna Green. Survivors are her husband, Thomas Barber; sons, Jonathan Allen and Christopher Allen; siblings, Luther and Mary Collins, Bobby Collins, Phyllis Dellinger, Susan and Rick Stalcup, Wanda Baynard, and Floyd Collins Jr.; step-daughter, Angie Parks; grandchildren, Shirley, Julia, Tonya, and Alissa. A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 6:00pm at the Macedonia Baptist Church, South Battleground Ave., Kings Mountain. The family will be at the home of Thomas Barber at other times. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Levine Cancer Institute, 1021 Morehead Medical Dr. Charlotte, NC 28204 Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
