Shelia L. Messer

Shelia L. Messer, 22, of Clover, SC, passed away September 6, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born August 26, 1993 in Gastonia, NC, the daughter of Dawn Dee Messer and the late, William Gene Travis. In addition to her mother, Shelia is survived by her brothers, Stephen Travis, Tony and Chris Morrison and sisters, Jennifer and Julia Messer. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Shelia Travis and maternal grandmother, Leta May Mess. A celebration of life service will be held 4 pm Saturday at The Bridge Community Church at Lake Pointe Academy, 3168 Hands Mill Hwy., York, SC. The family will receive friends 6:30 - 8:30 pm Thursday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and crematorium, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
