Sheila Hallbrook

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sheila Phillips Hallbrook, age 65, who left us on December 21, 2025. Sheila was born on October 29, 1960, in North Carolina, but she called Clover, South Carolina, her home for many years.

Sheila was a loving mother to her son, Michael Sanders (Taylor Helms); brother, Tim Palmer; sister, Becky Marshburn; and grandchildren, Caleb Sanders, Peyton Sanders, Brycen Sanders, and Abbigail Sanders, her family was everything to her.

Known for her warmth and generosity, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including her love for movies, music, and tackling her collection of puzzle books. Sheila's spirit will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sheila worked tirelessly in the cotton textile industry as a doffer, embodying hard work and dedication throughout her career. A high school graduate, she valued education and lifelong learning.

Services will be held privately by the family.

Rest in peace, Sheila. You will forever be in our hearts.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents Leroy Palmer, Dottie Palmer; and husband, James Hallbrooks.
