Shawn Diane Camby

Shawn Diane Camby, 47, of Gastonia, passed away November 1, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

She was born June 18, 1976, in Gaston County, daughter of Linda Diane Treece Upton and the late Lee Camby.

Shawn was the office manager for Evan's Trucking Company for several years.

She enjoyed reading, watching television and her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family.

A funeral service will be held 1:00pm Monday, November 6, 2023, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Dennis Gomez.

The family will receive friends Noon-1pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

The burial will be at Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.

Shawn is survived by her loving mother, Linda Treece Upton; her precious daughters, Kelsey Lee Camby (Malachi Ivester), and Rylin Kale Camby; precious granddaughter, Delilah Ivester; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to her father Lee, Shawn was preceded in death by her son, Ethan Camby; her stepfather, Kent Upton Sr.; her grandparents, Marvin and Gaynell Treece, Lora and Lonnie Camby

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for funeral expenses in c/o Linda Upton.
