It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shawn Albert Beck, born on December 13, 1967, in Gaston County, North Carolina. Shawn left this world on January 4, 2026, but his legacy of love and joy will remain with us forever.

Shawn was a passionate sports fan. He found great joy in fishing and cheering for his beloved Atlanta Braves and the Washington Redskins.

Shawn is survived by his children, Gregory Beck and Annsley Beck; father, Arthur Beck; sister, Tammy Cochran; brother, Shane Beck; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He leaves behind cherished memories that will be treasured by all who knew him.

Shawn was preceded in death by mother, Linda Beck; sisters, Tammy Ghorley and Tracy Hiland; brother, Vonn Ghorley.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM at One Accord Independent Church, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM. We invite all who knew Shawn to join us in celebrating his life and the many moments we shared.

In this time of sorrow, let's remember the joy Shawn brought into our lives, the laughter we shared, and the love that will never fade. Rest easy, Shawn. You will be deeply missed.
