Sharon Weant

Sharon Ann Weant, age 60, of Gastonia, passed away September 22, 2017 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

A Gaston County native, she was born November 24, 1956, daughter of the late Hugh and Lula Weant.

Sharon formerly attended Bethany Baptist Church and was a faithful witness to the lost.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Robert Reid of Gastonia and Jeremy Weant of Grover, NC; brothers, Barron Weant and wife Janie of Cincinnati, OH, Bob Weant of York, SC, and Jeff Weant of California; sister, Deborah Wallace of Lincolnton; and close friends, Eddie Wallace and Sal Tualla.

A funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Kenneth Lane, will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd, Gastonia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
