Sharon Sue Tate

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Sue Tate, born on January 30, 1959, in Gastonia, NC, daughter of the late Reese and Betty Jackson.

Sharon, who spent her life in Bessemer City, NC, was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Sharon was a woman who found joy in the simple things in life. She had a special love for animals and was passionate about growing beautiful flowers in her garden. A true friend of nature, she could often be found watching birds. Sharon loved the Lord and reading scripture.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her spouse, Kevin Tate.

She is survived by her sister, Cindy Dye; brother-in-law, Ken Dye; brother, Steve Jackson; and her wonderful nephews, Dylan(Kristy) and Jared Dye. 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew. James Teague long time partner. Sharon's warmth and caring spirit will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A graveside service officiated by Pastor Johnny Yarboro, will be held 2:00pm, Monday, February 3, 2025, at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City, NC.
