Shari Parton Tate

Shari Parton Tate, 55, of Gastonia, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021, at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas, NC.

A native of Gaston County, Shari was born on February 6, 1966, daughter of Marjorie Jory and the late Jerry A. Parton.

She was known for her cookies, crafts and her love for people. Shari loved being an aunt and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband married over 32 years, Roger Tate; sisters, Melanie Byrd and husband, Gary, Lisa Hayes and husband, Reggie, Kathy De La Ossa and husband, Victor, and Anne Parton; and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 6-8 pm, Thursday, December 23, 2021, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
