He was born January 9, 1958 in Santa Elena Usulutan, El Salvador, son of Victor Manuel and Rose Margoth Funes de Gaitan. A funeral service will be held 1 pm on Monday at First Presbyterian Church, 102 S. Central Ave., Belmont. The family will receive friends 7-12 pm on Sunday at the home.
