Scotty Blair Hawkins

Scotty Blair Hawkins, 68, of Gastonia, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Belaire Health Care Center.

A Gaston County native, he was born August 14, 1954, son of the late Willie "Bill" Neal and Betty Badger Hawkins.

Scotty loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed riding his Harley, taking trips, and being with his friends.

He truly loved being "Pawpaw" to his grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Jason Smith and wife Stephanie; daughter, Blair Hawkins; special daughter at heart, Donna Medley; sister, Savonne Roberts and husband Ricky; niece, Dana Farmer and husband David; nephew, Freddie Roberts and wife Rene; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank special friends, Terry Neal, Kenny Posten, Buster and Angie.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, on Wednesday, May 24, from 4:00 pm until 6:00pm.
