Scott Hedgepath

Scott Hedgepath, 59, of Dallas, passed away, April 29, 2022, at Carolina Caring in Newton.
A Gaston County native, he was born August 20, 1962, son of the late Dean and Mary Hedgepath.
Scott was a US Army veteran.
He loved his family and was a very caring husband, father, and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Hedgepath.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife and companion of 29 years, Delta Dawn Penland; sons, Kevin Parker, Jonathan Hedgepath Jr., and Corbin Hedgepath; daughter, Amber Penland and significant other, Jorge Salazar-Castro; stepdaughters, Leann Penland and Rachel Rhyne; brothers, Jeff Hedgepath (Diane), David Hedgepath (Sue), Whitey Hedgepath (Wendy); sisters, Cindy Childress (Mike), Karen Nipper, Connie Johnson; and 11 grandchildren.
All services will be private.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
