Scott Alexander Caldwell

Scott Alexander Caldwell, 60, of Gastonia, passed away in his home, surrounded by his family, on July 9, 2021.

A Gaston County native, he was born November 7, 1960, son of the late Evelyn and Earl Caldwell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Earl "Lindsay" Caldwell Jr. and sister, Shelly Chambers.

Scott worked for PSNC Energy for 30 years.

He was an avid fisherman with his biggest catch being a 30 pound striped bass.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Donna Caldwell; children, Meagan Auten and James Lee Auten Jr., grandchildren, Jack Bailes, Hayden Hilton, Link Auten, and Lainey Auten.

A memorial service will be held 1:00pm Monday, July 12, 2021, at Lowell Church of God, 804 W 1st St, Lowell, NC.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

The service will be officiated by Rev. Junior Morris and Pastor Joe Heffner.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
