Sarah Lois Hall

Sarah Lois Hall, 89, of Lincolnton, NC, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024, at Cardinal Healthcare in Lincolnton.

She was born in Stokes County on May 18, 1935 to the late Elmer and Bertie Ashby.

Sarah was a member of Covenant Church in Gastonia. She retired from Arlington Textile Mills. Sarah loved to pet-sit for dogs. She loved to cook. She especially loved her family and to be around children.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hall; brother, Wilkie Ashby.

Sarah is survived by her daughter, Sharon Summitt (P.L.); son, Chad Hall; grandchildren, Angela McClellan (Steve), Chasity Waldroup, Justin Summitt, Amiyah Hall; three great-grandchildren, Larry Waldroup III, Tyler Waldroup and Madyson Faith; several great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Joan Grigg will be held Friday, December 6, 2024, 2:00 pm, at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Road, Gastonia, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The burial will follow the service at Westview Gardens Cemetery in Bessemer City.
