Sarah Elizabeth Grigg

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sarah Elizabeth Grigg, who left us far too soon on May 22, 2026, just days shy of her 27th birthday. Born on May 27, 1999, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Sarah brought light and joy not only to her family , but to everyone whose life she touched.

Sarah was a vibrant spirit with a passion for the outdoors. A dedicated 3rd degree black belt, she was fierce in both martial arts and in her love for her family. Sarah had a creative soul; her artistic talents shone through in her drawing, painting, and imaginative writing. She expressed herself in beautiful ways and shared her creativity with those around her.

Most importantly, Sarah cherished her children and was a devoted mother to, Quincy Grigg and Saige Reid. She is also survived by her parents, Sheldon and Kelly Roberts Grigg; sister, Jessica Langbehn (David); her grandmothers, Charlene Roberts and June Grigg; and the father's of her children, Marke Reid and Quincy Carlson.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Paul Grigg.

To honor Sarah's life and legacy, a visitation will be held at Greene Funeral Service - West Chapel on May 29, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. After the service, Sarah will be laid to rest at a burial site located at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC.

While Sarah may no longer be with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be missed deeply by all who knew her and loved her.
