Sarah Alexandria Cope

Sarah Alexandria Cope, 33, passed away December 29, 2022, at Holy Angels in Belmont, NC.

She was born January 8, 1989, in Gaston County, NC, to the late Samuel Henry Cope and Linda Adair MacPherson.

Sarah was an avid book reader, loved being the boss, to joke, SpongeBob, and being a prankster.  She loved Duke.  Sarah lit up a room and had the best smile.

She is survived by her sisters, Crystal Allen (J.R.), Angela Cope, Christina Hubbard (Donald), Caroline Land (Jesse), Samantha Henderson (Chris), and Jasmine MacPherson; nephews, Blake, David, James, and Benjamin; a ridiculous amount of cousins; special friend who was like a mother to her, Debbie Will; special friend, Kerri  Massey; and all of her close friends at Holy Angels (Belmont) who were like family.

The family will receive friends 7:00-9:00 pm on Monday, January 2, 2023, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

A service to celebrate Sarah's life will be held at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 2:00 pm.  Interment will follow at Westview Gardens, 1123 Edgewood Road, Bessemer City, NC 28016.
