Sandra Carol Wilson

Sandra Carol Wilson, 67, of Gastonia, passed away Jan. 9, 2015 at the Robin Johnson House. She was born July 12, 1947, in Clover, SC, daughter of the late Talmadge C. Watts and Violet Blackwood. Sandra was a member at Upper Room Tabernacle. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Walter "John" Wilson, Jr. ; sons, Richard W. Terry, Jr., Wesley Wilson; daughters, Kimberly Mayo, Beth Melton; brothers, Steven Watts, Rickie Watts, David Watts; sisters, Louise Bryson, Kathy Watts, Janet Owen, Kay Owens; grandchildren, Brittney Terry, Justin Wilson, Kirsten McGirt, Kyle Wilson, Chase Yelton, Luke Wilson, Dalton Terry, Kalyn Wilson and Todd Mayo and great-grandchildren, Charatii Terry, Aaliyah Terry and Michael Terry. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by sister, Barbara Hudson. A funeral service will be held 1 pm, Tuesday, at Upper Room Tabernacle, 107 North Washington Street, Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Norman Green. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
