Sandra West, 73, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away on August 10, 2026, just days before her 74th birthday.

Sandra was a woman with a strong personality and an unmistakable presence. She lived life on her own terms, spoke her mind, and was never afraid to stand firm in who she was. Those who knew Sandra knew exactly where she stood. She was independent, determined, and unapologetically herself-a woman who left an impression and whose presence will not soon be forgotten.

A significant part of Sandra's life was the life and home she shared with her beloved wife, Wendy Ellen West. Their marriage was made up of all the things that create a life together-the ordinary days and important moments, laughter and challenges, familiar routines, shared experiences, and memories collected over the years. Sandra's passing leaves an absence that will be deeply felt by Wendy.

Sandra is survived by her beloved wife, Wendy Ellen West; her bonus daughter, Carrie West; her grandchildren, Ty, Ri, and Dakota and his wife, Kate; her great-grandchildren; her nephew, Jason Miller and family; as well as special family friends who held a meaningful place in her life.

She was preceded in death by her son, Chris Johnson, and her sister, Patti Miller.

Sandra leaves behind a family made not only through blood, but through love, shared experiences, and the relationships built throughout her life.

She will be remembered for her strength, determination, independence, and the unmistakable personality that made her uniquely Sandra. As her family says goodbye, they will carry with them not only the milestones, but also the everyday memories-the conversations, laughter, disagreements, familiar routines, and countless small moments that become so meaningful when someone is no longer there.

A life does not have to be perfect to have mattered, and relationships do not have to be simple to leave a lasting impact. Sandra's life was uniquely her own, and her place in the lives of those around her will not be forgotten.

May Sandra rest peacefully, and may those who loved her find comfort in the memories of the life they shared with her.
