Sandra Holloway Stepp Reynolds

Sandra Holloway Stepp Reynolds, 73 of Bessemer City went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, December 8, 2022.

She was born August 13, 1949, the daughter of James and Doris Holloway of Lowell, NC.

Sandra was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother (Meemom) who dearly loved her family.  She also cherished her Tabernacle Christian Academy family, her friends and neighbors, and especially her life-long best friend Joan Allsbrooks.

Sandra had an indominable spirit.  She was a pillar of strength, perseverance, and fortitude.  As the first born she set the example and paved the way for her sisters and all her family.  She was an avid reader, and an armchair political quarterback.  She loved flowers, trips to the beach, dogs, and especially spoiling her grandchildren, Kevin and Katie.

Sandra graduated from Holbrook High School.  She attended Belmont Abbey College and taught school for 34 years.

Left to cherish Sandra's memory are her loving husband of 34 years, Jack Reynolds Jr.; son and daughter-in-law Todd and Dawn Stepp; daughter Jessica Stepp; stepdaughter, Lindsey Williams; sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen and Eddie Watford, Tracy and Fred Cobb; Terri and Tim Sanford; grandchildren Kevin Stepp and Katie Stepp; nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

In addition to Sandra's parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved son, Brett Reynolds.

A memorial service will be held 4:00pm Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Stephen Hoell.

The family will receive friends 3-4 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
