Sandra Lawanna Shull

It is with heartfelt emotion that we announce the passing of Sandra Lawanna Shull at the age of 74. Born on July 4, 1951, in Gastonia NC, Sandra was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and dog mom. While she was born in Gastonia, she later relocated to Leland, NC, where she started life anew. She was employed by the State with the mental health department, and later became an associate at Home Depot where she was a valued employee.

A cherished helping hand and wonderful friend to so many, Sandra's happiness came from her family friends and precious fur baby, Buddy. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren on the beach and time spent with her siblings.

Sandra is survived by daughter Sharon Shull, sisters Donna Threlkeld, and Tammy Pasour; brothers Jeff Rogers and Jerry Long; grandchildren Jared Shull (Britnie), Ciara Whitehead (Terry), Moriah McDuffie, great-grandchildren, Zoeie, Trinden, Maddox, Jaden, Cambree, Cannon, Chandler, and Cross; several nieces and nephews.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Eloise Rogers and Norman Long, and brother Mike Long.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd, Gastonia, NC.
