Sandra Kay Lancaster

Sandra Kay Lancaster, 53, of Gastonia, passed away October 21, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born December 17, 1961, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of Ervin L. Lancaster and Inez Elrod Lancaster. Left to cherish her memories, along with her parents, are her dog Tater, whom she cherished and loved like a child of her own; brother, Dean Lancaster; sisters, Dale Schiff and husband Todd, Myra Williams and Hope Smith; several nieces and nephews that she was a mother to and her side-kick cousin, Darlene. A funeral service will be held 2:30 pm Friday at Westview Baptist Church, 3385 Fairview Drive, Gastonia, officiated by the Revs. Jerry Millwood and Josh Lancaster. The family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:15 pm prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Gaston Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Westview Baptist Church, 3385 Fairview Drive, Gastonia, NC 28052. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
