Sandra "Kay" Derreberry Stewart

Sandra "Kay" Derreberry Stewart, 67, of Gastonia passed away October 31, 2018 at Carolinas ContinueCare Hospital at Pineville.
She was born March 14, 1951, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late Lloyd Ray Derreberry and Fannie Mae Winkler Derreberry Brooks.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Stewart and wife Leah; daughters, Melissa Stewart and Christina Helms and husband Brad; brother, Randy Derreberry and wife Shelly; sisters, Brenda Gattarello and Jean Derreberry; grandchildren, Chris Stewart (Michelle Fultineer), Thomas Stewart, Steven Stone and Noah Helms and niece, Nicole Derreberry Poole (Joey).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William "Keith" Stewart.
A funeral service, officiated by Pastors Phil Meadows and Raymond Johns will be held 3 pm Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
