Samuel Henry Cope, 66, passed away October 1, 2017 at his sister's residence.
He was born July 11, 1951 in Gaston County, the son of the late James Herbert Cope and Sarah Head Cope.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Crystal Allen, Angela Cope, Christina Hubbard, Peggy Cope, Sara Cope and Samantha Cope; sisters, Jennette Rodden and Deborah Campbell; grandchildren, Kaylee and David Allen, James and Benjamin Hubbard and caregiver, Betty Hensley.
A graveside service, officiated by Pastor Andy Nichols, will be held 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Hollywood Cemetery, 540 N. Broad Street, Gastonia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made towards Samuel Cope's Headstone at Go Fund Me.com
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
