Samuel "Bud" Bumgarner Jr., 87 of Bessemer City passed away January 29, 2014 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born November 7, 1926 in Jackson County, NC, son of the late Dave and Dusty Robinson Bumgarner. A graveside service will be held 1:30 pm Saturday February 1, 2014 at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm -1:00 pm Saturday at the West Chapel, Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052.
