Samuel "Sam" Andrew Parham

Samuel "Sam" Andrew Parham, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on August 7, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. Born on November 17, 1960, Sam, as he was fondly known to friends, was a proud American citizen and had a passion for fishing, hunting, and tending to his vegetable garden. He was always ready to fix things around the house and cherished his beloved family deeply.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel Parham; daughter Miranda Barron (Michael); son, Daniel Parham (Haley); grandchildren, Michael, Zoey, Lilly, Willow, Easton, and Sadie; sisters, Lila Hartness, and Mary Johnson.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Mary Parham; daughter, Cecila Parham; brother, Rodney Parham

A visitation to celebrate Sammy's life will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel, 1503 S York Rd., Gastonia, NC, 28052.

A Funeral Service will then take place at Carson Memorial Baptist Church on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 2:00 pm, officiated by Pastor Chris Wilson.

Sam will be laid to rest at Crowders Creek ARP Church Cemetery.

Samuel Andrew Parham will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones.
