Sam Hall

Sam Hall, 88, of Gastonia, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at his residence.

He was born in Sylva, NC to the late Ralph and Della Hall.

Sam was a member of Ranlo Freewill Baptist Church. He was kind, compassionate, laid back and easy going. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He loved the Lord.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie L. Hall; brothers, Jennings Hall, John Hall; sister, Evelyn Hall; granddaughter, Teesi Hall.

Sam is survived by his son, Jimmy Hall; daughter, Nancy Hall; brothers, Earnest Hall, Alvin Hall, Isaac Hall; sister, May Hall; grandchildren, Nathan Hall, Tyler Hall, Joseph Hall; seven great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service officiated by Re. Wendall Davis will be held, Sunday, February 19, 2023 in the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematory, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, at 5:00 PM. Visitation will be prior to the service from 4:00 – 5:00 PM.
